Banned Foreign Workers in UK
Foreign workers from outside the European Union will be banned from coming to the UK to work as secondary school biology teachers, vets and orchestral musicians. The Government's own statistics show that, in the 12 months after Mr Brown's speech, the number of foreign workers rose by 175,000 as the number of British in work fell by 46,000. The government has already banned the legal movement of unskilled economic migrants from outside Europe to Britain. Government officials ay that Our recommendations are made on a purely economic basis.
